Weather Glass

For TechCrunch Disrupt hackathon, I worked on two Glass apps – one of them is Weather Glass, which uses the Weather Underground API’s network of webcam’s to let you see the weather at a distance, depending on which weather beacon you “shoot”.

It’s omniscience of a sort. You can see weather beacons as far as 50 miles away, to see what the weather is like in San Rafael or Sonoma or something. Or, just the weather in the Mission.

Basically, gyroFIRE platform – tap to fire (action) to see the corresponding webcam view at that beacon.

Download from a site I dumped most of my Glass hacks at – StatusBeta.com – here.
