It was a half day hack for the facebook-wearables hackathon in 2013, where it won the Fitbit prize. It was also entered in the Extreme iPad Challenge, where it placed finalist.

StatusBeta – Wearable Device Testing Platform http://hacks.yosun.me/2013/11/17/statusbeta-wearable-device-testing-platform/ http://hacks.yosun.me/2013/11/17/statusbeta-wearable-device-testing-platform/#comments Sun, 17 Nov 2013 12:51:01 +0000 yosun http://hacks.yosun.me/?p=278 I extended to a testing platform, a website that might look like an app store but is really just a bunch of my own Glass hacks – with virtual tryouts.

And then I entered it in the Salesforce Million Dollar Hackathon… which was a bit haphazardly managed, such that they ended up giving a tie for first place and up-ing the first place prize to giving away two million dollar prizes – however, I did not win. (I would probably not be feeling glum enough to document my hacks, if that happened.)

gyroPiano http://hacks.yosun.me/2013/09/23/gyropiano/ http://hacks.yosun.me/2013/09/23/gyropiano/#comments Mon, 23 Sep 2013 12:22:19 +0000 yosun http://hacks.yosun.me/?p=266 Mapping from a plane to a cylindrical geometry, for z-axis symmetry in a piano that you play around you, tap to play a note.

Along the same lines of StyleZapper (or gyroFIRE or Glass Shootout with blocks ordered cylindrically around you instead of random placement)…

In-browser “Try Out” – http://statusbeta.com/tryout/id/gyropiano

This was a hack created for my talk at the SF Music Tech keynote on October 2 – Musical Instruments, inspired by Google Glass.

The app demo’s I showed were:
